Overview

Yarlo is a Nigerian-based digital platform on a mission to transform how Africans rent assets — starting with real estate. With a focus on speed, trust, and accessibility, the platform empowers both renters and asset owners with tools that simplify the rental experience from start to finish.

With a bold mission to “make access to rental services as frictionless as possible,” Yarlo needed a cohesive brand system that could communicate innovation, trust, and relatability — especially to a younger, tech-savvy audience entering the real estate market.

The Challenge

Yarlo had a strong logo in place, but no clear brand system to bring its identity to life across platforms. As a new player in the rental space, the brand needed to quickly earn trust — especially from young, digital-first users — while also reassuring agents and property owners with a sense of credibility and professionalism.

The real challenge was turning a single logo into a flexible, unified brand that could communicate Yarlo’s mission with clarity and consistency, from Instagram posts to onboarding screens.

Our Approach

I translated Yarlo’s mission into a clear, approachable brand system — starting with a comprehensive brand book covering logo usage, color palette, typography, and visual tone.

To support a seamless digital presence, I designed a suite of campaign-ready assets, including Instagram templates, promotional graphics, and branded mockups. Every element was built for consistency, ease of use, and long-term scalability — empowering Yarlo to launch with clarity and confidence.
